Meet Our Guest Speaker!

Hope Utterbeck

EVP Chief Information Officer of Liberty Bank

Hope brings over three decades of Information Technology Executive experience across various industries. Her diverse background gives her a strong business acumen and broad technical knowledge, enabling her to leverage technology to deliver quality service, operationalize processes, and exceed business expectations.

Hope has held the position of Chief Information Officer for Liberty Bank since 2020. Prior to joining Liberty Bank, Utterbeck held the position of Senior Vice President and Director of Business Applications at Webster Bank. She started her career at Pratt & Whitney as an entry-level associate and later joined GE, where she advanced her technical and leadership skills. Her career at GE culminated in her roles as Vice President of Global IT Operations and Vice President of Enterprise Data Platforms.

Utterbeck earned an A.S. in Business Administration from Northwestern Connecticut Community College, a B.S. in Management Information Systems from Central Connecticut State University, and an M.B.A. from the University of Hartford. In addition to her academic achievements, she is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and actively participates in various volunteer events and opportunities.

As a part of serving the community, Hope recently completed a Board of Directors / Treasurer term with UR Community Cares, Board member with Million Women Mentors and is a long time CE board member for the Congregational Church of Burlington.
