THE CREW
The CREW is made up of discipline experts who share their expertise to enrich the learning experiences of our students. They are Credentialed, Ready to Educate Workers who serve as just in time resources for our many program.
Adriana Crippen has a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering and over 15 years of experience in the engineering field. She currently works in the commercial aircraft industry supporting the design, developing and manufacturing of industrial gas turbines.
Julievette has a Master's Degree from LIU and a Bachelor's Degree from UCONN. She worked as a Special Ed. Math teacher for the past 9 years–working in both NYC and Hartford, CT. This academic year, she works as a Dean of Special Services at a charter school. She is also featured as a singer on STEAM Train's See Me in STEM theme song.
Danielle has a Master’s degree from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor’s degree from Central Connecticut State University. She is a math teacher and a Teach for America 2017 Alumnus. Danielle is the composer/singer of STEAM Train’s theme song, See Me in STEM.
Leandra is an occupational therapist from Connecticut. She earned both her undergraduate degree in Health Science and her master's degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Scranton in Scranton, PA. Leandra currently works for the Hartford Public School District where she services children with disabilities from the greater Hartford area.
Kristopher Marques
Kristopher has an associate degree in Computer Information Technology.
Kristopher is very knowledgeable of many aspects of IT, including programming, computer hardware, networking, and security. He currently works at Middlesex Community College as an Educational Assistant in the Technology Center. He is also a teaching assistant in STEAM Train's Fast Track Academy
Ramona Morris
Ramona has a Master’s in Digital Media from Northeastern University and a Bachelor’s in Graphic Information Design from Central Connecticut State University. She is the owner/proprietor of Hylton Design and Multimedia Services and an adjunct professor for the Connecticut State University system.
Shayla Patterson
Franceine Welcome
Franceine is a current PhD Candidate at Stony Brook University in Biochemistry and Structural Biology. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Cellular and Molecular Biology from Connecticut College. Currently, she studies the structure and function of lipid modifying enzymes in the lab.
